Recently, the reporter learned that the Ecological Environment Bureau of Shilong District, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province has issued an approval notice on the report form for the waste tire resource utilization project of Pingdingshan Yihao Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (the approval document is: Pinglonghuan Shen [2023] No. 03).

It is reported that the project will be located in Shilong District, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, with a total investment amount of 150 million yuan. The project covers an area of approximately 11000 square meters and is planned to be completed within 3 months. The project is expected to process approximately 120000 tons of waste tire resources annually, and plans to build 24 new tire cracking production lines; Adopting a low-temperature micro negative pressure cracking process, the utilization rate of waste tires is 100%. The products are carbon black, pyrolysis oil, and steel wire, all of which are sold externally. Cracking non condensable gas is used as the energy source for the cracking furnace.

The cracking temperature of this project is 380 ℃, and the pressure inside the cracking furnace is about 400Pa. Non condensable combustible gas is recycled as fuel, and the waste gas is systematically discharged through a 20m exhaust pipe. The energy consumption is less than 80KWh/t. After cracking, no further processing of carbon black is carried out.

In order to achieve efficient operation, the project has decided to obtain scrap tires after crushing treatment through outsourcing, instead of setting up scrap tire crushing equipment. This decision helps to save project time and cost, and improve the efficiency of waste tire treatment.
